Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Old Game Gets a Neat Makeover

Those who were totally addicted to the game a few years back, take a gander at it now.

Counter-Strike : Global Offensive is a remake of the game Counter-Strike that turned high school and college students into soldiers. The original game came out almost a decade or so ago, but is still being played today by loyal hardcore gamers.

Although it looks and sounds the same, hmmm. It may look a little neater, but not that significant. The map being played on the videos are very nostalgic, I could sometimes imagine myself actually in the player's stead.

The game is said to be released in the first quarter of 2012, and would become available for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms. Players are expected to get new weapons, new missions, maps, and a whole lot of action. It's also said it would be a cross-platform game. I'm not entirely sure what that is, but does it mean a PS3 player can be in the same game as a PC or Xbox360 player? I hope so.

Below are the two videos that were released from the game. Enjoy the nostalgia. Feel free to comment below. Oh and please share the link  using the buttons to the left.

I loved the original game. I'm not sure I still have time to go back to gaming, but I hope I get the chance to play this baby soon.

Guys, what happened to Diablo 3 anyway?
